**Miyaxx（ミヤックス）**は、ソングライターのLea Thomasとアーティスト／プロデューサーJohn Thayerによる新プロジェクト。ニューヨーク州キャッツキル山地を拠点に、“ナイトタイム・ファズ・フォーク”と形容される独自のサウンドを奏でる。

Leaのギター、シンセ、包み込むような歌声と、Johnのドラム、パーカッション、フィールド録音、エレクトロニクスが交わり、繊細で夢幻的なサウンドを生み出す。夢のように移ろいながらも、聴く人をどこかへ運んでいくフィールドが響き渡る。

Miyaxx (pronounced mee-yahx) is the new project of songwriter Lea Thomas and artist/producer John Thayer (Ezra Feinberg, Arp, YAI). Currently based in the Catskill Mountains of New York, their sound, described as “nighttime fuzz folk,” is a distinct union of each of their strengths.

Lea Thomas’s guitar, synths, and gently reassuring voice intertwine with John Thayer’s drums, organic percussion, field recordings, and electronics to guide listeners through moments of possibility, reflection, and release. Their layered arrangements create a soundscape that is detailed yet dreamlike, shifting and flowing like weather- alive, mutable, and unfolding with purpose.
